Desenvolvi duas ilustrações individuais em scratchboard, representando uma chinchila e um tigre, no âmbito do mestrado em Ilustração. Cada trabalho foi pensado de forma independente, explorando o contraste entre luz e sombra, o detalhe e a textura característicos desta técnica. Através de um processo minucioso de raspagem sobre a superfície preta, procurei captar as particularidades de cada animal. A suavidade e delicadeza da chinchila, e a presença forte e intensa do tigre. Este projeto permitiu aprofundar a observação, a precisão do traço e a construção de volume através da luz.

I developed two individual scratchboard illustrations depicting a chinchilla and a tiger, created during my Master’s degree in Illustration. Each piece was approached independently, exploring the contrast between light and shadow, as well as the detail and texture characteristic of this technique. Through a meticulous scratching process on the black surface, I aimed to capture the unique qualities of each animal. The softness and delicacy of the chinchilla, and the strong, intense presence of the tiger. This project allowed me to further develop observation skills, line precision, and the creation of volume through light.
